In Spark Chart, a "Spark" is customised view of the survey results. Sparks are used to analyse results and to save the results analysis. A Spark can contain all the survey results or it may contain edited views of the survey results. Additionally, Sparks may contain results for all participants or for selected participants. Sparks can also be created for filtered results.
The "Shares" feature provides an easy way to share survey results (Sparks). Simply select the Shares menu, create a new "Share", select the Sparks to include and save. Shares may be open to the public or they may be protected with a password or a numeric PIN code.
Develop and add recommendations and key messages
Spark Chart makes analysis of results easy. Even still, analysis of survey results requires a proper investment of time to review the results, identify trends, and develop recommmendations and key messages.
Messages and recommendations can be added to Sparks and to Shares. Sparks and Shares can be designed to easily present and share results with different audiences.
Create as many Sparks as you need
Sparks can be used to analyse results, choose respondents to include, customise presentation layouts, add key messages and recommendations, and save analysis without losing the work performed. Sparks can then be shared easily. Create as many Sparks as needed.
Edit Spark layouts
To edit the layout of a Spark, go to the Sparks menu and choose the Layout button alongside the Spark. In the Spark Layout, the presentation of the results may be customised. Later, when the Spark is "Shared" and "Viewed", the customised presentation will visible. Customising options include filtering results, changing the graph type, hiding or showing specific questions and responses, hiding or showing elements like additional comments, response rates, themes and more. Key messages and recommendations can also be added.
The Spark layout allows easy analysis of results and addition of key messages and recommendations. Sparks can be saved along with analysis without losing the work you done. Sparks can be customised and designed to present and share results with different audiences.

In the "Settings" tab the presentation elements of each individual survey result may be customised, including:
- Show or hide the the question.

Filter results to explore trends
Filters in Spark Chart allow results to be filtered according to selected responses. Select the answers for specific questions you want to filter by and then apply. When "Applying" or "Removing" filters the change will be made immediately and you will be returned to the top of the page where a Filters Panel will be visible. Multiple filters can be set. Individual filters can be Enabled and Disabled in the Filters Panel. Filters may also be deleted.
For questions only allowing a single answer, the condition will be set up to include ANY of the selected values. For Questions allowing multiple answers, conditions can be selected to include respondents who selected ANY of the filtered answers. Or, include respondents who selected ALL of the filtered answers. For multiple filters there will be an option show results that match ANY filters or require that results match ALL filters.
