In the Spark Chart Dashboard there is a TOOLS menu area where commonly used survey elements can be created and stored, ready for use in surveys. These tools include Rating Scales, Answer Lists and Themes. Regularly used tools can save time when building surveys.
Rating Scales are a type of survey question (or statement) that is commonly used in surveys. They are useful because they allow comparison of responses from one question to another. Rating scales contain "Values" that allow report calculations and "Labels" to define the scale item for interpretation and make answering easier for respondents.
An Answer List is a type of survey response that is commonly used in survey questions. An Answer List contains a list of items that a surve respondetnt can select from. They can be used to select one item from a list or multiple items from a list.
Themes are used to group items or questions in a survey together. A survey item may have more than one theme attached to it. Themes can be useful for grouping surveys items or questions for reporting.
